How about a theme switcher ? Its auto and require single javascript include and editing an select box, thats it. Have a look at this,

dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex9/styl ...

Its really tiring to browse through all designs, read commnts, test the pages, and comment again, you get the feeling before reaching even 10th design.

I suggest using it, coding by hand a bit to customise the select box for fast themes/design name and url, probably need to remind user to reload/refresh for the icons, and that it. Fast theme switching on the fly (icons might need refresh though).

I don't know if you noticed, but the theme pages already have buttons to move on to the next or previous theme precisely to make it easier to browse the different themes.

I did notice it, but IMHO the better ones is the theme switcher, prev & next is just navigating, not choosing. Navigating from 1 to Nth require N clicks, while switcher its just 1 click. Hope you can test the demo to see the benefits, on the other hand, providing multiple styles for user to switch might be good for the site in future.

That would only make sense if the users already knew they want to go to specific themes. However, the users don't know those themes yet, so they will want to browse all one by one to make up their minds before voting.
